This position is located at the Georgia Air National Guard's 165th AW Civil Engineering Squadron in Garden City, Georgia.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will perform journeyman level plumbing repairs and installations. The selected candidate will also repair, replace and install plumbing fixtures, drainage systems, hot water heaters, boilers and associated hardware according to applicable codes and regulations. May also perform work in other maintenance specialties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications- Backflow Prevention Certification (must acquire within 1 year of hire)
- Experience using National Plumbing Codes and locating underground utilities.
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of Lift Stations and Oil-Water Separators.
- Experience with commercial dishwashers, garbage disposals and water heaters.
- Two years experience in commercial or residential plumbing which includes installation, repair and maintenance of a variety of fixtures, lines, and other plumbing related components.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience in building repairs and maintenance or in the specific area of assignment.
