Retail Customer Service Cashier

Overview

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring for a Guest Advocate (Cashier). In a fast-paced environment, cashiers maintain clean spaces, provide fast, friendly, and accurate service, and may perform various duties depending on business needs. No experience? We will teach you!

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Possible cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds; ability to work in varying temperatures.

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to perform physical tasks ( lift 25+ pounds) and work in different temperatures.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills to adapt to varying business needs.
