Desired Candidate Profile
Education
 Diploma / B.E. /

B.Tech in Metallurgy, Mechanical or Production Engineering

Experience
 5+ years of experience in aluminium alloy manufacturing or aluminium recycling
 Hands-on experience with furnace operations (rotary / induction / reverberatory)
 Exposure to aluminium scrap melting and alloy control

Technical Skills
 Must have knowledge of making Aluminium Alloys such as ALSi

Mg, AC4B,
LM25, LM9, LM6, etc.
 Must have knowledge of various types of Aluminium Scrap and fluxes and their uses
 Spectrometer handling and interpretation
 Production planning and shop-floor execution
 Basic maintenance coordination

Job Description as follows :

Role

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager – Aluminium Alloy Manufacturing to
manage end-to-end production operations at our aluminium alloy manufacturing facility. The role
involves planning, execution, quality control, safety compliance and team management to ensure
consistent output, optimal recovery, and adherence to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Production & Process Control
 Plan and execute daily and monthly production schedules
 Oversee aluminium melting, alloying, degassing, and casting operations
 Ensure correct alloy composition as per customer requirements
 Achieve production targets with optimal yield and recovery

Quality & Compliance
 Ensure adherence to chemical composition and quality standards
 Monitor spectrometer results and take corrective actions
 Reduce rejections, re-melts, and process deviations
 Maintain batch-wise production and quality records

Safety & Discipline
 Enforce plant safety rules and PPE compliance
 Ensure safe handling of molten metal and scrap
 Support safety audits and statutory compliance

Team & Shift Management
 Supervise furnace operators, supervisors, and helpers
 Manage shift planning and manpower productivity
 Help is creating and training on SOPs, safety, and process discipline

Cost & Efficiency
 Control fuel, power, and consumable usage
 Improve metal recovery and reduce wastage
 Coordinate with maintenance to minimize breakdowns
