Venor is searching for Sales Associates to join our client’s team in St. John’s and Gander, Newfoundland.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting furniture and home décor items that suit their needs, while delivering a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner

Assess customer needs and provide knowledgeable, expert advice on product selection

Demonstrate product features and benefits, offering design recommendations when needed

Maintain a strong understanding of current inventory, pricing, promotions, product warranties, and policies

Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system

Assist with showroom setup, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment

Follow up with customer leads, and post-sale to ensure satisfaction with the products and services, and encourage repeat business

Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in sales, design, or a related field is an asset

Previous retail or sales experience preferred (furniture sales a strong plus)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

A passion for interior design and helping customers create beautiful spaces
