About the Opportunity

Mount Milligan is seeking a Supervisor, Mine Access & Services to oversee safe and reliable water management operations across the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), pit, ponds, and associated infrastructure. This role provides direct field supervision of crews and contractors, ensuring pumping capacity, equipment reliability, and compliance with regulatory and site standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day dewatering operations, including cyclone systems, pumps, pipelines, wells, and ponds.
  • Maintain pumping capacity to support site water balance and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate work activities with Operations, Tailings, Projects, Maintenance, and Electrical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards, safe work procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance of pumps, pipelines, and related equipment.
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to crews and contractors.
  • Maintain a strong field presence to identify hazards early and verify controls are implemented.
  • Provide regular operational updates and support cost tracking and performance reporting.
About You
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical or Mining Engineering or related field (asset).
  • Trade certification in a related field (asset).
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in dewatering, water management, or similar mining/industrial operations.
  • Working knowledge of pumps, pipelines, generators, and related equipment.
  • Proven ability to supervise crews and contractors in field-based operations.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and safety compliance skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, adaptability, and accountability.
Working Conditions
  • Camp-based role working 12-hour days on a 7 day on/7 day off rotation, with accommodation provided during rotation.
  • Exposure to indoor/outdoor environments, heavy equipment, noise, and moving parts.
  • PPE always required.
  • Safety-sensitive environment with zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy.
  • Bus transportation provided from regional locations.
