Are you a highly organized leader with a passion for creating efficient, supportive work environments? We are seeking an Administrative Support Supervisor, reporting to the Business Coordinator, to lead the day-to‑day operations of Employment and Financial Services (EFS). In this pivotal role, you will supervise administrative staff and oversee key supports for programs such as Income Support (IS), Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH), and Child Support Services (CSS).
You’ll play a central role in ensuring smooth delivery of services while managing HR processes, payroll, purchasing, records, accommodations, and budgeting with a high degree of confidentiality. - Leadership & Supervision
:
Supervise and support Administrative Support staff across multiple programs. Foster a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with APS values. Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, time approvals, and performance management. Promote staff development, succession planning, and lead change initiatives. - Operational & Program Coordination
:
Oversee administrative support for EFS programs and front‑line services across multiple sites. Ensure consistent coverage, facilitate communication, document processing (e.g., FOIP, legal forms), and provide cross‑site support and issue resolution in collaboration with program teams and Business Coordinators. - Technology & Systems Support
:
Manage staff system access, IT equipment requests, inventory tracking, and basic tech troubleshooting. Act as Security Coordinator for mainframe and LISA SharePoint systems, and support contingency and business continuity planning. - Financial & Procurement Oversight
:
Monitor and reconcile expenditures, handle accounts payable, purchasing, PCard transactions, and vendor coordination. Manage control documents securely and perform budget tracking and year‑end processes. - Facilities & Workplace Health and Safety (WHS):
Coordinate office logistics, workspace set‑ups, vehicle use (as applicable), and maintain fixed assets. Promote a healthy and safe workplace through WHS orientation, hazard assessments, emergency planning, and documentation upkeep.
