Assistant Professor of Dermatology (Tenure Track)
UTMB Department of Dermatology seeks a highly motivated Dermatologist to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research and patient care needs of UTMB’s threefold mission.
Responsibilities include direct patient care including consultative and outpatient services; participation in all teaching activities including conferences, lectures, rounds, and house staff supervision; advancement of clinical knowledge through academic and scholarly efforts; and administrative duties such as advising and evaluating residents and students, providing medical direction for hospital services, and committee memberships at the departmental and Health System level.
Educational Experience and Requirements- M.D. or D.O degree from an approved medical school.
- Completion of an approved Dermatology Residency training program.
- U.S. Board Certification.
- Valid State of Texas medical license.
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
