Physician, Radiology Services

Overview

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, interpretation of radiology exams primarily performed within the Emergency Departments of the Galveston, League City, Clear Lake, and Angleton Danbury campuses. This includes, X-rays, CT scans, MRI’s, and Ultrasounds across multiple subspecialties.

• Interpret radiology exams performed in the Emergency Departments across the specified campuses, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and Ultrasounds across multiple subspecialties.

• MD, DO.

• Appointment to the position is contingent upon, but not limited to: holding a valid Texas Medical License; appointment to UTMB hospital’s medical staff; receipt of an official transcript verifying highest/terminal degree; verification that you are not excluded from any federal or state health care program; successful completion of pre-employment substance abuse screening; satisfactory UTMB and/or TDCJ criminal background check; verification of references, education, applicable credentials;
  
  confirmation that you are legally authorized to work in the United States.
• If this position involves any type of patient contact, the offer is contingent on providing proof of vaccinations or immunity to certain vaccine-preventable diseases including TB testing (IGRA).
• Only American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS are acceptable at UTMB.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
