CT Technologist - Computed Tomography Technologist
Job
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date:
ASAP - 36 hours per week (12‑hour nights)
- Employment Type:
Travel - Pay: $1,728 – $1,907 per week (tax‑free stipend for meals, housing, incidentals)
- Possibility to extend beyond 13 weeks
- Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
- Explaining scanning procedures to patients
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
- Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
- Maintaining accurate technical records and quality assurance reports
- Following all safety, infection control, and emergency protocols
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
- Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
- 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols
