As a Travel RN in LTC, you’ll be at the heart of resident wellness, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, individualized care that respects dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional health, adjusting plans as needs evolve.
- Safely administer medications, manage IV therapiesanna and monitor for adverse effectsรกิจ, with meticulous documentation in the EMR. < offr>
- Provide wound care, pressure injury prevention, mobility support, and falls risk mitigation to maintain optimal functional status.
- Support activities of daily living, promote nutrition and hydration, and assist with rehabilitation goals as appropriate.
- Monitor chronic conditions, perform routine screenings, and recognize early indicators of deterioration requiring escalation.
- Facilitate иац smooth transitions of care, discharge planning, and communication with external providers and family members. Uphold strict infection control practices, safety protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate residents and families about treatment plans, medications, and self‑management strategies to empower informed decisions.
