Senior Sales Representative – Middle TN, Gallatin
Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 13 states with over 3,500 employees. RGI, established in 1908, is the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.
We are seeking a Senior Sales Representative for our Southern Division, reporting to the Director of Sales. The successful candidate will lead safety, quality, and revenue generation across existing operations and drive growth into new opportunities.
Duties Include But Not Limited To- Oversight of +2M tons of aggregate sales in the greater Nashville area.
- Increasing revenue and margins through disciplined market management.
- Maintaining favorable and effective relationships with current customers.
- Identifying and prospecting new customers and capturing information in Salesforce.
- Favorably resolving customer complaints as necessary.
- Analyzing market trends and developing action plans to capitalize on shifts in market.
- Developing and executing specific strategies to obtain new business.
- Working with internal teams to ensure product quality and availability.
- Assisting in overseeing the sales process from pricing, to preparing contracts, forecasting, and assisting in credit and collections.
- Assessing sales functions and potential on prospective acquisitions.
- 5+ years of experience and success in a sales environment.
- Sales experience in the aggregates, asphalt, construction, or related industry strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of the marketing area is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or experience-based discipline required;
Business or Construction Management preferred. - Proven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Capability to demonstrate knowledge of products, market conditions, and competitors.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills required.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
