Job Location: SEMINARY BANKING CENTER - GALESBURG, IL 61401
Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.50 Hourly
Under general supervision, while conforming to established policies and procedures, is responsible for providing high quality customer service.
Position Expectations- demand deposit and savings account transactions, safety deposit box activities (if available)
- check cashing and selling monetary instruments.
- Cross‑sells bank services and makes product referrals as part of the Retail Incentive Program.
- Will attend training sessions and participate in training exercises for the Retail Incentive Program and various banking topics.
- Balances each day’s transactions and verifies cash totals.
- Assists other tellers with balancing, resolving problem situations as required.
- Will be cross‑trained to perform Universal Banker duties if needed.
- Also performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- The analytical ability to resolve balancing discrepancies.
- A thorough knowledge of bank products and services; including features, benefits and service fee schedules. The ability to cross‑sell bank products and services using the Marquis CRM System.
- Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D. College degree is preferred.
- Cash handling experience
- Sales or customer service experience
- Bi‑lingual applicants will receive special consideration.

- Ability to type and file documents proficiently
