Location: 280 E Losey St., Galesburg, IL 61401
Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 annually (Negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our Nursing Department in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure regulatory compliance, clinical excellence, and a culture of high-quality, resident-centered care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about mentoring staff, improving outcomes, and driving quality initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct overall Nursing Department operations
Develop and maintain policies and procedures governing nursing services
Provide written and verbal reports and recommendations to the Administrator and Medical Director
Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care
Maintain and oversee the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
Participate in regulatory surveys
Assist with discharge planning and administrative duties including reports, audits, and evaluations
Monitor Quality Measures, Quality Indicators, and survey outcomes
Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified areas of improvement
Delegate authority and responsibility to nursing staff as appropriate
Conduct daily rounds to ensure compliance with clinical standards
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting
Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
Current CPR certification
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and long-term care standards
Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of the position
Must meet facility health requirements including physical examination
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds
