The Co-Occurring Therapist is responsible for providing mental health and substance use treatment services using a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Responsibilities- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements and Bridgeway expectations.
- Provide clinical services (individual, group counseling, case management and early intervention services) to clients presenting with substance use disorders based on the American Society of Addiction on Medicine Placement criteria
- Provide written and verbal reports to referral sources following all appropriate Bridgeway standards.
- Provide DUI Evaluations and Risk Education classes (if properly credentialed and trained) to clients in needs of these services.
- Ensure internal and/or external linkages are made for the consumer when necessary, providing follow up and continuity of care planning as authorized by the consumer.
- Provide follow-up services including letters and phone calls to no show consumers or consumers who have dropped out of services.
- Maintain direct billable service hours at expected rate defined in performance standards.
Minimum requirements include a Master s degree (M.A./M.S.) from an accredited institution and in an applicable field such as Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field and prior internship in counseling. LCPC, LCSW or LMFT licensure is required or must be obtained within an appropriate timeframe. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving history, meet driver insurability requirements, and reliable transportation.
