LSSI is hiring a full-time Intact Sr. Child Welfare Supervisor, Monday through Friday. This role is responsible for supervising a unit of direct service staff who provide foster care, adoption, and intact family and/or counseling services. The supervisor may oversee a team of Child Welfare Supervisors and assist a Program Director.

• Supervise staff, which may include Child Welfare Supervisors, who provide services to achieve permanency for children per the service plan and agency, accrediting, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Program Director in the management of the site and programs.
• Complete and submit all reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by the agency and funding sources.
• Promote working relationships with community organizations, churches, funding bodies, and other providers.
• Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and partner organizations with dignity and respect.

• Master’s degree in social work or a related field required.
• Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS, required.
• State licensing/certification as required by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to display positive organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing for the state of residency is required.
• Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings and to transport clients as needed.
• Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage for bodily injury and property damage.
