Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical - PRN

Twin County Regional Healthcare, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical unit on a PRN basis. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care in a rural community setting, supporting a dynamic, collaborative team, and contributing to continual process improvement.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation related to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments.

• Current Virginia (VA) or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Small Animal Life Support (ASLS) preferred.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical‑thinking skills.
