Howyou’ll contribute
A Certified HVAC Technician who excels in this role:
- Oversees, maintains, and repairs HVAC equipment. Prioritizes and schedules work in conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor.
- Diagnoses, repairs, installs, rebuilds, and replaces mechanical and geothermal equipment—including motors, bearings, heat exchangers, compressors, valves, and climate-control units—and inspects and ensures safe operation of boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, and ventilation systems.
- Monitors safety practices. Performs inspections.
- Performs other general maintenance duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- HVAC Certification is required.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Associate degree or formal vocational/technical trades training is preferred.
Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH) is located in Galax, Virginia, which is in the center of the Twin Counties of Grayson and Carroll in Southwest Virginia. TCRH is a 141‑bed facility that includes acute care, ambulatory care and emergency services. TCRH is considered a rural hospital that serves a large Medicare population, as well as, a total population of approximately 60,000.
