As the Director of Rehabilitation, it is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. The Director of Rehabilitation will seek to return the resident to the optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of resident, Physician, and therapy goals.
Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Rehabilitation Policies and Procedures.
Must possess a valid and current license as a therapist or therapist assistant granted from the state of employment.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a therapy role in a hospital, rehabilitation community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
