CSG Legal is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Galashiels. The role involves managing complex legal cases in Family Law, Child Protection, and Criminal Defence. Core responsibilities include representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, providing expert legal advice, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve effective outcomes for clients.

The Senior Associate will also contribute to the firm’s growth by mentoring junior staff and fostering client relationships.

• Extensive experience in Family Law, Child Protection, and Criminal Defence
• Strong legal research, analysis, and document drafting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to represent clients effectively in court
• Team collaboration and mentoring abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in staying updated with changing legal regulations in Scotland
• Membership in the Law Society of Scotland and an active Practicing Certificate
• Aptitude for developing and maintaining client relationships
