Personal Assistant

I am delighted to share details of this essential role to support me in maintaining my independence at home whilst I continue in my full‑time professional career.

Due to the retirement of my current personal assistant, I am looking to recruit a new Personal Assistant to support my personal care and independent living at home.

As a 49‑year‑old professional female and stroke survivor of over 6 years with dominant right sided weakness, I would be vital to enabling me to continue living independently at home. I am extremely sociable, outgoing and friendly person who has enjoyed a great working relationship with my personal assistant to date.

This role is an exciting and rewarding opportunity based in Galashiels working fixed hours Monday to Friday  and Thursday  to support me with my independent living outcomes including personal care and supporting me with some light household tasks each morning.

You will be PVG a registered and whilst previous experience is preferred it is not essential.

I would particularly welcome interest from experienced individuals living and currently working in the Galashiels area.

• Hourly rate: £13.50
• Holidays: 5.6 weeks pro rata per year
