Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform collision repairs on heavy-duty vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry best practices, and our strict quality standards. Your work will ensure every vehicle returns to service safe, structurally sound, and restored to (or better than) its pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform body repairs based on written estimates, repair procedures, and OEM guidelines.
  • Inspect and verify parts and materials against estimates for accuracy and quality.
  • Disassemble, prepare, and set up vehicles for repair.
  • Communicate promptly with management about any additional damage, required supplements, or potential delays.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and personal safety gear in excellent working condition.
  • Adhere to all OSHA, hazardous materials, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow technicians and shop staff to support efficient workflow.
  • Operate shop tools and equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support shop operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in collision repair or body technician work (or equivalent training and skills).
  • Solid knowledge of vehicle construction, frame repair, panel alignment, welding, and related techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret estimates, technical service information, and repair documentation.
  • Strong commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and workplace safety.
Preferred (but not required)
  • ASE certifications
  • Manufacturer-specific or paint/refinish training.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a hands-on position in a professional body shop setting, involving standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to typical shop conditions (noise, dust, etc.).
