This position is based in Madison, WI, with relocation assistance provided. We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to maintain our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our extensive campus.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
- Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliances
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools for technical resolutions
- Refrigeration:
Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines - Cooking:
Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets - Ventilation & HVAC:
Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems - Sanitation:
High-capacity dishwashers, sanitation systems
Qualifications include CFC Universal Certification, EPA 608 certification, minimum 3 years of relevant experience, and eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship. Willingness to relocate and COVID-19 vaccination are required.
