Job Description As a Security Officer - Storefront Patrol Driver in Montgomery Village, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more:  As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining a secure environment for all individuals within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with the public, staff, and law enforcement as needed to support security-related operations at the location.
• Assist with access control and visitor management to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the retail or mall environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
