Guest Service Representative

Overview

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking Guest Service Representatives. A Guest Service Representative sweetens up the place, sets the mood, and makes a visit to the bakery an event worth posting about. You’ll help guests order the right cake for celebrations and ensure orders go off without a hitch. You’ll create an environment of generosity, happiness, and joy in your community.

• Greet walk-in and phone guests promptly with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, following NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
• Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from promotions and remain connected.
• Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine cleaning of floors, countertops, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent attendance and punctuality record.

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• While no formal education or work experience is required, previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant, or retail store is a plus.

Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on changing business demands.

Must be able to travel between Gaithersburg and Germantown locations. Compensation: $16.50 per hour.

Employees at a franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery location are employed by the franchise owner/operator and are not employees of Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate.
