Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research Technician based in Gaithersburg, MD. The Research Technician will contribute to the execution of cardiovascular preclinical studies through laboratory experiments, tissue harvest, and advanced data collection. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing research tasks, collecting, analyzing, and documenting experimental results, maintaining laboratory instruments, and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations. Collaborative teamwork and active participation in improving laboratory protocols will be essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, such as equipment handling, sample collection, and animal handling.
  • Strong Research and Data Analysis skills to design experiments and interpret results
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to assess outcomes and ensure accuracy in experiments
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field such as Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with cardiovascular research models and techniques is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting
