This engagement supports a long-term program with our client's team, with emphasis on Linux, Python, and Ansible within a Dev Sec Ops  framework. The program offers a five-year contract potential, rapid Public Trust processing, and the opportunity to collaborate with a broader team. Candidates may be considered for hybrid flexibility after trust is established, though onsite presence is required.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the software management toolset supporting development and deployment workflows.
• Develop, implement, and maintain software configuration management solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system and pipeline issues.
• Ensure systems comply with organizational security and Dev Sec Ops  standards.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Dev Ops experience.
• Experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat.
• Proficiency with Bash shell scripting and Python.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Hands-on use of Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Crucible.
• Experience integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with secure configuration and compliance standards.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Eligible for Public Trust clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting government or regulated environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security scanning tools (preferred).
• Exposure to containerization or cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure (preferred).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• AWS certification (preferred).
