Position Summary

ASCP-certified Pathologists’ Assistant to support both human pathology cases (including autopsy consultations and clinical trials) and preclinical animal studies conducted under GLP and non-GLP conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and track pathology cases from receipt through completion
• Perform gross tissue dissection for human and animal specimens
• Conduct X-ray imaging and digital photography of specimens
• Organize and coordinate laboratory workflows to support pathologists
• Prepare preliminary pathology reports and documentation for analysis
• Ensure compliance with GLP, CAP, and SOP requirements

Qualifications

• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program
• or
• MS degree in the biological sciences with demonstrated experience in gross tissue analysis
• ASCP certification preferred
• Proven hands‑on laboratory experience
• Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software systems
