The Parks Activation Team at Montgomery Parks is hiring Special Event Assistants to help bring our events and programs to life! This role will assist with special events and programs throughout the year such as Parks Summer Concert Series, Sligo Creek Fest, Parks Ale Trail, Shakespeare Beyond, Parks Playhouse Junior, Acoustics & Ales, and other community events. If you love working outdoors, enjoy community events, and want to gain hands‑on experience in parks, recreation, or special events, we encourage you to apply.

What You’ll Do- Assist with the set up and breakdown of event spaces and equipment including tables, chairs, tents, signage, etc.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles for events.
- Monitor events on‑site, including all event activities, ensuring safety and success of the event.
- Engage with event attendees and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
