The Sr. Quality Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the site operates in full compliance with all federal/state regulations, ISO 13485 standards, customer specifications, and the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal Sr. Quality Engineer is a proactive leader who builds trust with internal teams, customers, and suppliers by driving process improvements and strengthening QMS performance. This role is instrumental in supporting the site’s single quality agenda and advancing business success through technical expertise and collaboration.
A successful Sr. Quality Engineer drives regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant while providing technical leadership to cross‑function teams. They lead and support investigations related to complaints, nonconforming material reports (NMRs), supplier corrective actions, and CAPAs. They also support engineering changes, validation activities, component and material testing, and risk assessments to ensure product and process integrity.
Lastly, the Sr. Quality Engineer will support the site’s training program and oversee the work of Quality Technicians and Inspectors. Additionally, the Sr. Quality Engineer will support internal, customer, and supplier audits and lead in the resolution of findings and observations.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Material Sciences, or Engineering
- 7 years of experience in a regulated industry, such as life sciences, food and beverage, automotive or aerospace with preferred emphasis in life sciences (e.g. pharma, biopharma, or medical device)
- 3 years in a Quality role (Quality System development, implementation, and/or execution) within a manufacturing environment
- ASQ certifications desirable (e.g. CQE, CQM, CQA)
- 1 year of supervisory experience

Saint‑Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,040 to $159,040. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
