Civil Engineer

Design land development projects in Prince George's, Montgomery, and Howard Counties of Maryland. Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in areas such as site layout, water and sewer mains, roads, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies, and grading plans. Provide assistance to team members and management to accomplish department goals and objectives.

• Design site layouts, water and sewer mains, and roads using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies, and grading plans.
• Assist team members and management to meet departmental goals.
• Engage in project management and visit client sites as needed.

• 2-5 years of experience in designing with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Micro Station.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of Montgomery County permits.
• Experience in private land development is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to visit client sites and manage projects.
• Local candidates preferred.

Located in Montgomery Village, Maryland, offering civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, and land planning services across Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Northern Virginia. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery Village, MD.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
