Estimator – Commercial Landscaping and Construction / Plan Swift software preferredWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator to join our growing team in the construction industry, specifically commercial landscaping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, specifically with commercial landscaping. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bid proposals, reviewing bid documents, and working closely with our sales team to ensure project feasibility and profitability. This role requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction plans.

- Analyze and interpret construction plans and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for and accurately priced.
- Review bid documents, identifying any potential risks or challenges and suggesting appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs and expectations, and to develop competitive and profitable bid proposals.
- Leverage your expertise in commercial landscaping to provide value-added insights and recommendations.
- Utilize Plan Swift or equivalent software to streamline and enhance the estimation process.
- Continually monitor industry trends and market conditions to ensure our pricing strategies remain competitive.
- Participate in bid presentations and negotiations, providing clear and compelling explanations for our cost estimates.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial landscaping.
- Proven experience preparing bid proposals and reviewing bid documents.
- Proficiency in Plan Swift or equivalent estimation software.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex construction plans and project specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the sales team and present to clients.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify potential risks or challenges and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
- A deep understanding of industry trends and market conditions, and the ability to adapt our pricing strategies accordingly.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
