Overview
Procurement Manager, Advertising & Media Agency Management role Supports category strategy development and initiatives for all agencies and some key vendors for the Oncology Business Unit, with focus on the NA region along with Global responsibilities. Partner with franchise / function marketers to meet marketing objectives and best in class agency partnerships. Additional category and activity support as required to support the business needs.
They are a subject matter expert in agency management, agency operations, performance management, and/or sourcing with prior experience in agency management or procurement of marketing related spend categories. They proactively partner with business team members in Marketing, Media and similar areas to develop agency strategies and lead sourcing projects, enable scope definition and demand management leading as leading supplier performance and innovation activities.
Duration : 9 months Contract-possible to extend
Pay Range : $48/hr - $51 /hr.
Job Description
Procurement Manager, Advertising & Media Agency Management for the Oncology Business Unit will be responsible for: supporting category strategy development and associated initiatives for all agencies and some key vendors, with a focus on the NA region and global responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Category Management and Vendor Management supporting activities and operational practices driving performance.
- Collaborating on the OBU specifics for development of regional and global strategy execution recommendations.
- Support the implementation of broader agency strategies and holding company approach; proactively identifies alignments across a larger OBU portfolio.
- Establishing strong relationships with key partners and agencies to drive improvement across service, quality, timeliness and outcomes.
- Supplier Analysis & Management; including QBRs, reporting, dashboards, surveys amongst other activities.
- Reporting and Analytics across multiple systems and data sets; including Financial, Spend Analysis, Consumption/Demand analysis.
- Analyzing and communicating patterns to identify new opportunities for value creation and turn data into concrete insights, decisions, and outcomes.
- Lead compliance, governance, and value tracking activities.
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of broader supplier and industry trends and dynamics.
- Facilitate and implement agency/supplier relationship management programs that span multiple OBU areas in close partnership with key business leaders and strategies.
- Leads day to day procurement operational practices while balancing the responsibilities of various business areas, vendors, analytics and planning.
- Lead Sourcing-driven activities, negotiations, support peak contracting and reviews, including Project Management.
- Effectively guiding cross-functional teams in selecting agency and supplier partners that deliver best total value aligned to the OBU strategy.
- Collaborating with business partners and agency partners to create productive performance-based reviews.

- Must be knowledgeable of and experienced in the successful implementation of Advertising Strategic Sourcing and/or Agency Management standard methodologies.

- Strong ability to analyze situations and resolve complex issues using data and analytics, including Power BI and other systems/tools.
