EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level
3) – Gainsborough

Full-Time | Enhanced DBS Required

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a busy nursery/primary setting in the Gainsborough. This full-time role has become available to support a growing number of children during a particularly busy period.

The Role:

You will work closely with teachers and nursery staff to support high-quality early years provision, helping children learn, develop, and feel secure in a nurturing environment. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys a hands-on approach and can adapt to the pace of a busy EYFS setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support daily EYFS activities and classroom learning

* Provide one-to-one or small group support where required

* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

* Assist with routines, organisation, and classroom preparation

* Respond flexibly to the needs of children and staff

Requirements:

* Level 3 EYFS or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification

* Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)

* Previous experience in an EYFS or Early Years setting

* Strong relationship-building skills with children and colleagues

* Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach

Hours:

Full-time, typically 8:30am – 3:30pm, including a lunch break. Any changes will be confirmed in advance.
