Overview

On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1873)  role is On-Demand Team Member (TM) with a flexible schedule; you can work as much or as little as you like, with shifts posted by leaders or team members via the myTime scheduling app. If offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule.

The hourly rate is starting at $17.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and provide knowledge about tools, products, and services; solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Ask guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Understand and demonstrate how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
• Handle returns by following register prompts and partnering with leaders as needed; de-escalate situations while following Target policies.
• Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours; comply with safety standards and best practices.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders, and drive-up returns; maintain compliance with laws and procedures.
• Assist with Cash Office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• Other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to educate guests about products and services and to operate handheld scanners and other tech.

• Accurately handle cash transactions and support cash office operations as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally; push/pull and stand for shifts; comfortable with varying temperatures depending on area (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
