Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Outpatient - Primary Care

Overview

Inova Primary Care is hiring a dedicated LPN for full-time, day shift work (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm). Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Weekdays: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintain and review patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participate on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Certification: Basic Life Support upon start.
• Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse or eligible for licensing in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse upon start.
• Experience: none.
• Education: Vocational/Technical Nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: experience as LPN or Medical Assistant in ambulatory settings.
