Patient Service Representative

Atlas Walk Dental Center is looking for a Patient Service Representative in Gainesville, VA to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team‑based environment. We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Full‑time hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and a desire to start a career in the dental field. The candidate will support all staff members and patients: handling phones, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with the completion of patients’ treatment plans and financial arrangements. Flexibility is required for handling additional requests or projects assigned by other staff or the Office Manager.

• Provide excellent customer service; greet patients upon arrival and departure with a warm smile
• Answer the phone and respond to patient questions or concerns in accordance with DCA policies
• Schedule and confirm appointments, maintain the appointment book, and follow up on no‑shows or cancellations
• Register patients on the sign‑in sheet; post charges and payments to patient accounts
• Check voicemail daily and keep the waiting area clean and friendly

• Experience working in a dental practice (required)
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
• Excellent telephone and customer‑service skills
