Pay From: $19 per hour

• Experienced Medical Assistant
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant
• Must have experience working in Primary Care and/or Urgent Care based setting
• Must have experience working in a high volume, multi provider office
• Must have injection experience
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must have EMR experience, ECW a plus
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred
• Prior authorization experience is highly preferred

• Taking Vitals
• Preparing Charts
• Pulling Charts
• Follow up calls
• EKGs
• Putting notes into EMR system
• Assisting Techs when needed
• Answering phones
• Assisting doctors in room
• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
• Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions maintaining the reception area
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies
• Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  
  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  
  Other duties as assigned
