Job Title: Safety Specialist

Project Duration: Approximately 2 Years
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 a.m. start, straight 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $30–$35 per hour
Per Diem/Travel Pay: None – This is not a travel position

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Safety Specialist to support a long-term water treatment project for an established electrical contractor in Austin, TX. This role will be responsible for promoting and enforcing job site safety standards, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and supporting a strong safety culture on site. This is a stable, two-year project opportunity for candidates local to the Austin area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce job site safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols
• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports
• Support incident investigations and recommend preventive measures
• Promote a proactive safety culture among field personnel

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of safety experience in construction or related industry
• OSHA 30 certification (Required)
• Additional safety certifications are a plus
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
• Ability to work early mornings and maintain consistent on-site presence
• Strong communication and organizational skills
