Infant Teacher – Daycare & Preschool | The Learning Experience Gainesville, VA

Location: Gainesville, VA

Pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Gainesville is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our infant classroom provides a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where babies grow, explore, and reach important developmental milestones.

• Provide loving, attentive care for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom
• Support daily routines including bottle feeding, diapering, naps, and tummy time
• Engage infants in sensory play, music, and early language activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Communicate daily with families about routines, milestones, and progress
• Follow all health, safety, and Virginia childcare licensing requirements
• Work as part of a team to provide consistent, high-quality infant care

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with infants is required
• Experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Must meet all Virginia state childcare licensing requirements
