• Pay:
  From $18 to $25 an hour
• Job type:
  Full-time
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Overtime as needed

Primary duties

• Install components and wiring of low and medium voltage switch gear according to electrical drawings, diagrams and specifications.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams and technical documents to plan wiring layouts.
• Measure, cut, and install wires using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, ensuring proper electrical connections.
• Conduct tests on wiring to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot issues during installation.
• Inspect, clean and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components to prepare for installation.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards.
• All other duties assigned.

Work expectations

• Maintain assigned schedules for project completions set forth by operations manager, department supervisor and customers.
• Electrical experience required; work with commercial to aircraft-type wiring.
• Keep work area tidy and ensure quality of work, accuracy, and appearance to CBS standard.
• Maintain records of all work performed, including images of initial product or requirement received and throughout the project.

Education and experience

• High school or equivalent GED certification.
