Job Description
AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Specialist at our Gainesville plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for routine inspections of standard parts, units, equipment, and materials while following quality procedures. This is a small office environment, and you'll get an opportunity to assist with customer service functions when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Will have 50% plant presence and 50% office presence.
* Inspects quality of material to ensure it meets customers expectations.
* Produces production quality reports as needed.
* Performs periodic audits to ensure established standards of quality are maintained.
* Will assist with customer service functions as needed.
Qualifications
* Field experience in a similar role preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
* Working knowledge of ISO
* Excellent written and oral communication for both internal and external engagement
* Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
* Must be able to work on-site.
Minimum Education
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
