This position will work independently to ensure the successful industrial representation and performance within program teams and the Integrated Program Team (IPT). The manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of each program, from design through manufacturing, ensuring that industrial commitments align with program objectives and the broader industrial strategy. This includes managing resources, budgets, production processes, and quality standards to meet technical, cost, and scheduling goals.
The role also involves fostering collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments, optimizing industrial practices, and maintaining effective customer relationships on all industrial fronts. The PIM coordinates industrial teams including Industrialization Leaders, Tooling and Manufacturing Planning. The PIM analyzes the risk of each program, and through standard procedures chooses specific deliverables to ensure a successful program. A PIM 2 can participate in projects or improvement initiatives.
Function Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
Program Representation and Leadership:
Act as the industrial representative within the program team and the Integrated Program Team (IPT). Ensure industrial commitments align with program tollgates and schedules and the broader industrial strategy. Coordination with Supply Chain IPT representation to ensure parts delivery supports program milestones and proactively review progress. - B) Design and Industrialization: Plan and ensure manufacturing resources are prepared and capable of producing according to technical requirements, production rates, schedules, and cost objectives. Propose and implement industrial schemes linked to the company's industrial strategy, including definition of Make/Buy strategy. Manage the industrialization budget and non-recurring costs through the life of the program, including managing cost reduction initiatives. Coordinate engineering and manufacturing activities during the industrialization process, ensuring product/process convergence from an industrial perspective.
Manage industrial and project risks. - C) Manufacturing Performance: Oversee industrial process performance and adherence to cost objectives. Manage production issues and recovery plans, ensuring timely customer deliveries and maintaining quality standards. Manage cost reduction plans and ensure alignment between local operations and program demands.
- D) Change Implementation: Implement and manage changes in design and industrial schemes across the supply chain. Ensure manufacturability and consistency of proposed changes from "as planned" to "as built".
- E) Quality Assurance and Program Coordination: Ensure that design and industrialization processes (e.g., APQP) maintain high-quality standards. Provide customer interaction on all industrial aspects under delegation from the program director.

B.S degree in a related technical field or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 12 years of job related experience in lieu of a degree. - Work Experience – Technical knowledge:
