PositionSummary
Operator
We are looking for an Operator experienced in manufacturing to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for operating injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials.
Responsibilities- Operate injection-molding machines to cast products from thermoplastic materials
- Pull lever to close dies and inject plastic into dies to cast part
- Trim excess material from part using knife, rout-a-burr, gate clipper or other hand tool
- Verify the quality of the parts produced meet the designated customer requirements, quality appearance standard and any functional requirements
- Remove finished product from dies using handtools
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Report to work on time and adheres to lunch and break schedules
- Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
- Read and understand blueprints
- Capable of operating more than 1 molding machine and related support equipment
- Ability to use basic measurement tools
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods
- Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Ability and willingness to change job functions at a moment's notice
