Deposit Account Administrators – Level I are part of the Deposit Operations department and provide a wide range of support to many other First State Bank departments. This position supports bank personnel with deposit account-related services, deposit account opening & verification processes/systems, and other responsibilities.
EssentialJob Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting staff with deposit account documentation requirements
- Serve as a backup for processing the opening of new Online Accounts, Specialty Lending Accounts, and New Employee Accounts in accordance with bank policies
- Monitoring & processing of:
- Multiple CRM Service Events
- Account & CIP documentation review, including DDA, SAV/MMA, CD, IRA, SDB
- Internal and external audit & exam preparation
- Maintenance reports & corresponding general ledger balancing
- Placing & managing Intra Fi product orders
- Other tasks as needed in the Deposit Operations department
- Customer and Personal Service – knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services for both customer & employee needs
- English Language – knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous bank experience is preferred, or 3-5 years related experience or equivalent
- Oral Comprehension & Expression – ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Problem Sensitivity – ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
- Reading Comprehension – understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs up to a height of 3-4 ft
- Standing – must remain in stationary positions 100% of the work day
- Dexterity – ability to operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, adding machine, copy machine, and printer
- Hearing – ability to exchange accurate information to customers regarding their accounts and/or banking procedures
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to learn technical material.
