The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for representing TRUMPF to customers and managing Tru Mark laser marking equipment sales in the Southeast United States. The role includes generating leads, sales of Tru Mark OEM lasers and systems, customer qualification, and meeting sales goals. Preferably located within east Texas / East Dallas area.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent TRUMPF Laser Division to customers in Southeast US (Florida, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and surrounding states), managing customer care before and after sales.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets for the region.
- Sell TRUMPF Tru Mark products, services, and software.
- Develop strategic customer partnerships.
- Coordinate with Manufacturer’s Reps and Distributors.
- Support customers with technical inquiries alongside TRUMPF teams.
- Initiate new applications at target accounts.
- Maintain activity levels like customer visits, lead follow-up, and application requests, accurately recorded in CRM.
- Develop and implement action plans aligned with country strategy.
- Collaborate with external partners and participate in marketing activities and conferences.
- Provide regular reports on calls, projects, visits, and orders to sales management.
- Use TRUMPF sales systems consistently and accurately.
- Prospect and qualify new companies and customers.
- Maintain relevant market information.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Adhere to company guidelines.
Travel
- Willingness to travel up to 80% and occasional overnights.
Education & Experience
- Experience selling technology-driven capital equipment; laser marking knowledge is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and industry connections required.
- Technical knowledge of laser technology and systems necessary.
- Associates degree required;
Bachelor’s or higher in a technical field preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 base salary, plus commission and bonuses. One-year guarantee. Final salary depends on experience.
