- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk‑ins and same‑day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up
- Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting, and related treatments
- Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre‑employment, and annual examinations
- Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries
- 2+ years’ experience providing patient care as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (required)
- Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and appropriate state license (required)
- ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family practice preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, etc.)
- Detail‑oriented and confident in medical best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office, and EMR applications
- Experience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, and physicals
- Respect and autonomy in decision‑making
- Team‑based approach to patient care
- ACLS/BLS certifications (will be provided if needed)
