Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; FNP or PA

• 13 – 15 shifts per month

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk‑ins and same‑day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up
• Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting, and related treatments
• Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre‑employment, and annual examinations
• Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries

• 2+ years’ experience providing patient care as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (required)
• Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and appropriate state license (required)
• ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family practice preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, etc.)
• Detail‑oriented and confident in medical best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office, and EMR applications
• Experience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, and physicals
• Respect and autonomy in decision‑making
• Team‑based approach to patient care
• ACLS/BLS certifications (will be provided if needed)
