* Position Summary:

** Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and preventative maintenance of all facilities related equipment. The facilities technician also plays a major role in providing a safe and productive environment for all employees.
*
* Position Responsibilities:

*** Performs minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs on any utilities found within the facility.
* Troubleshoots and repairs various types of equipment to include compressors, chillers, pumps, motors, and HVAC.
* Performs predictive and preventative maintenance on all facilities related equipment.
* Assist other departments with installation of equipment to include, rigging, electrical and utility piping.
* Ability to fabricate, weld and operate manual machine lathes and mills.
* Works closely with the EHS team to ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
* Utilize electrical and mechanical schematics, parts manuals, assembly instructions and other troubleshooting guides to assist in solving problems.
* Utilize the CMMS system to record all maintenance and repair services performed and keep track of all materials and parts used during the repair process.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
** Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

*** Knowledge of Production and Processing.
* Ability to analyze and problem solve complex data and issues.

Qualifications:

* Education:

*** HS graduate or equivalent
*
* Experience:

*** 3+ years of experience in manufacturing facility
* 2 years’ experience with hazardous waste management and hazard communication
* Handy man ability and painting electrical
* Needs to be able to work alone unsupervised.
* Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
