Manufacturing Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the production plan within the shift and handling logistic tasks, technical expertise in CNC machinery and metals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and organize the team efficiently in the Metals area
• Set up CNC machines and troubleshoot
• Communicate with the Manufacturing Manager.
• Perform daily measurements and quality inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Train employees and maintain inventory practices.
• Uphold housekeeping standards.
• Record production activities accurately.
• Conduct quality inspections following International Automotive Task Force quality standards (IATF 16949).
• Escalate issues to the manager as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members and assist with complex tasks.
• Follow Internal Quality Issues procedures (IQI).
• Perform other assigned duties.

Education and Skills Requirements:

• 1-2 years minimum manufacturing experience; 3 years desired. /li>
• Mill, lathes, and Metal fabrication experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Organized with good technical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic math skills and understanding of quality systems.
• Computer proficiency and manual dexterity required.
• Commitment to attendance and punctuality.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of the metric system.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with measurement devices and quality systems.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and slip resistant safety toe shoes
