Position: Crane Operator / Age Oven Operator

Starting Rate of pay: $23.52

Shift Premium:

Shift Differential = $1.00/HR to start (less than 1 year); $1.25 for 1 to 3 years and $1.50 for 3+ years of service

Shifts Available and Hours:

12-hour continental night shift


What you will be doing

• Maintain safe and efficient operation of the extrusion crane and rack shuttle.
• Ensure rack quality is up to standard before moving racks from the saw.
• Verify cert samples are saved for all orders which require them.
• Maintain a productive flow of racks to and from all saws.
• Determine next oven cycle for each oven based on current rack inventory and stage racks accordingly.
• Verify alloy and temper of all staged racks behind each oven.
• Learn the aging requirements for all alloys and tempers.

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

• Ability to communicate effectively with fluency in English;
  Good verbal communications skills a plus.
• Successful score on basic job skills, job specific assessments, and mobile equipment assessments.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required mobile equipment testing, including drug screens and basic physical exam.
• Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 65 lbs. on a repetitive basis.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year's manufacturing experience a plus. Extrusion process experience is a plus.
