A leading heavy industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Safety Specialist to join the team based at their facility in the Gainesville, GA region.
Reporting to the Regional EHS Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining all safety programs and ensuring all employees are trained and following safety policies and procedures.
The Role- Develop and implement all site safety programs
- Strengthen training, PPE use, and procedural compliance
- Conduct risk assessments, JHAs, and build needed documentation
- Provide daily safety leadership and strong floor presence
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of safety experience in industrial or manufacturing settings
- Comfortable serving as the sole safety resource
- Self‑starter with strong communication and coaching skills
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and communicate at all levels.
